Bathroom Cleaning Schedule

How often should you clean your bathroom?
Bathrooms need our constant attention to stay clean.  Not only is this healthier, but it’s more relaxing to be in.  Some simple tasks are helpful to do daily. And deep cleaning is done frequently to keep things looking good, smelling good, and sanitary.  To make things simpler, your cleaning schedule can include daily, weekly and monthly bathroom tasks.  This is where a cleaning checklist is invaluable.

Daily Bathroom Cleaning Checklist

Doing a few simple tasks every day will keep the bathroom pleasant and make the weekly cleaning easier.  Try fitting these into you daily schedule as a habit and before long you won’t even notice.

Weekly Bathroom Cleaning Checklist

Your weekly deep cleaning can be done all at once, or spread out over days.  As long as you can stay consistent with it, that’s what really matters.

Less Often Bathroom Cleaning Checklist

These tasks don’t need to be done as frequently as the others, but they’re still important.

When they are neglected it doesn’t take long to become noticeable.  The room begins to feel “rough” around the edges and feels less than cared for.

You may not be able to see the clutter under the sink when you walk into the room, but you know it’s there.  And you have to deal with it every time you open the door.

Also, the bathroom is one of the dustiest rooms in the house.  So thoroughly managing the dust on everything (walls, ceiling, etc.) is noticeable.

Of course, you want your bathroom to smell good too!  Keeping the drains clear and sanitized will prevent a lot of unwanted odors from developing.
